Amazon-owned Zoox issues software recall for robotaxis after Vegas crash

Amazon’s Zoox has recalled all 270 of its vehicle software following a crash in Las Vegas. The incident involved an unoccupied robotaxi that collided with a passenger car on April 8 due to an inaccurate prediction during a lane approach. The software update addresses issues occurring at speeds over 40mph. No injuries were reported, and minor damage was sustained.
