GameStop to Offer Additional Switch 2 Stock at Launch

GameStop will have extra Switch 2 stock available both in-store and online when the console launches next month, according to a post on X. In-store launch events will begin at 3 PM local time on June 4th, with pickups starting on June 5th at 12 AM EST. Online orders will also begin on June 5th at 12 AM EST. GameStop opened preorders on April 24th, and while online preorders sold out quickly, many customers were able to secure preorders in-store. Best Buy has also indicated that most of its stores will have additional Switch 2 consoles available at launch. Nintendo’s direct sales invitations have been sent out, with some customers receiving their invites as early as May 8th.
